What to do on a sunny day

Testing Team…

Wanna take me out so I can have some sun on my skin? All you got to do is to have some interesting (to me ;) ) techie activity that can only be done outdoors. Today, a beautiful sunny sunday, Bernabé, Pancho, Federico and I, all members of MontevideoLibre, went out to do some connectivity tests from Nodo Cerro to Cucha, Mercurio and Brith. Laura went with us, and even climbed to the roof at Nodo Cerro. I will not ask her to write her own node page since she might also choose El Colorado as its name :P .

BiQuad targeting…

Bernabé was unsure the tests did show something relevant, but I was happy with them. We had some problems from nodo Cerro since there are many trees that we do not want to chop (unless they certainly get into Fresnel zone), but as we climbed the hill, some 130mt. above Nodo Cerro’s level we could hear many more transmitters, including Mercurio. We are not sure why we can not hear Brith and are suspecting of Cucha not having a good enough omnidirectional antenna. We ended up eating, as you should expect any gerd activity to end, and resting at the sun that was much closer to us than it was when we were downhill. A bright, happy, sunny sunday indeed.
